Grey Safety Glass

Mexim provides a full range of safety glass for applications that require it. Safety glass has been modified in some way to lessen the chances of breakage as well as to minimize the potential detrimental effects when the glass is broken. These additional safety protections can be achieved in a variety of ways: Strengthening the glass (tempered glass), laminating (two or more pieces of glass are sandwiched together using a strong substance such as EVA – ethylene-vinyl acetate – that holds the glass together when broken),wire mesh glass (also known as wired glass) and engraved glass, or by combining several of these methods. Mexim’s grey safety glass is often tinted in various shades of grey as that is what is most commonly demanded for safety glass in Aruba and throughout the Caribbean. The safety glass most commonly used by Mexim is made using the laminated method.
